Gula(h)ljóð

Gula (h)ljóð is a project that deals with how a natural soundscape changes when it is made into an industrial area.

The work is made for spatial, audio-visual performance on 24 speakers and screen / canvas.

More to come soon.

Windturbines

The Guleslettene area in Kinn and Bremanger municipalities has at the time of writing been converted into a wind farm and will be operational this winter.

Environmental activism

The work will be a contribution to nature conservation through art and resides in the tradition acousmatic sound art with strong ties to acoustic ecology or soundscape. The goal is to make people more aware of the sound pollution we have around us in general, and how much a wind power plant will add to the noise pollution.

Rivers

Glaciers and rivers have carved out the landscape in Norway. The result is this wonderful landscape of fjords, valleys and mountains. Beautiful scenery is also a magnificent soundscape. The sound of rivers is a constant reminder of the geological process when moving about in these areas.
